Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on the 30th of December 1986. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 with the catchy electro-pop songs "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. The soprano's quirk and her capacity to create catchy and emotional songs put her at the forefront for modern mainstream music, along with an independent and artful pop. Polydor Records offered her a contract as a major label. She began to prepare for the release.
