Lis Wihl (born on the 19th of August 1961) was an American lawyer and writer who worked for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor at Law, New York Law School. Previously she was the associate professor at Law University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning show as well as hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl, who was born and raised within Yakima located in Washington State, matriculated in Yakima in the state of Washington from West Valley High School. She received her bachelor's degree at Barnard College, followed by a master's degree in literature from the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She served as a legal correspondent for the NPR program All Things Considered. She was "the Chief Investigative Counsel for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." She was a tenured professor of laws at the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001 as well as the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl served as an Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
