Ayesha Takia Azmi is a Bollywood actress and former model who was born on April 10, 1986. Her most prominent roles have been in Hindi films. Ayesha received the Filmfare's Best debut Award in the year 2004 for her portrayal as the lead actor of Taarzan The Wonder Car. This was her acting debut. Takia was delayed in the release of Taarzan The Wonder Car, which had originally been planned for Socha Na Tha. However delays in production caused delay to its release. Ayesha's courage in the face of morality was evident when she attacked her father-in-law's political views Samajwadi Party Samajwadi Party member Abu Azmi for his views about the penalty for rape survivors. Ayesha announced her commitment to veganism in public when she took part in PETA's India advertisement. In 2006 she appeared on the list of most desirable Indian women.
