Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on the 28th of October, 1967 in the home of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Julia Fona Roberts is the fourth generation of Roberts that resided in Atlanta. At an early age his father became obsessed by theatre. While studying at Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. Following his air force service and appearing in an airforce production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. The couple got married in 1955 and the couple's first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. In 1957 the couple left the Air Force and Walter was enrolled in Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. In 1960 the family moved from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou began production on the local Saturday morning children's television program called Bum Bum and His Buddies which they funded by themselves. In 1964 Betty Lou and Walter founded The Actors and Writers Workshop. It lasted for 6 years. The couple also had two children. Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also called Lisa) and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also know by the same name Julie).
