Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Roberts belongs to the Robertses' fourth generation to live in the Atlanta area beginning with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Her father was the first interest to theater. He performed on at the Emory University campus in 1952 and also in a variety of productions that were staged around Atlanta. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force, and was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a production together with Betty Lou Bredemus. The couple got married in the year 1955. Their baby son Eric Anthony, was born in the year 1956. Walter and his wife were discharged from the military in the year 1957, when they enrolled Walter in Tulane University. Walter started working at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the children's local Saturday morning television program Bum Bum and His Buddies, which they funded themselves. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in that same year. It lasted 6 years. Lelisa Billingsley, also known as Lisa, was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
