Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor as well as an animal rights activist in the United States. Her name is well-known for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). She was raised by an artist family in New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of arts. She started as a photographic assistant before moving on to modeling and acting. In her first two films, she was recognized as a winner of the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major hit and fetched her worldwide notoriety, along with several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and a Golden Globe award. In just three films she was deemed the most successful female at the box office in history. In Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she got her name and footprints hand-engraved. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television show The Winds of War. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married three occasions.
